The purpose of the project is to give residents and visitors in the subarctic area a quick insight into what cold and darkness can mean to humans and how its properties can be used in a positive way.
The goal of the project is to build a virtual network where researchers, experts, and organizations with interests in the arctic area can discuss, present their findings and acquire further knowledge about the impact of darkness and cold on humans.
The project consists of project management, travel, seminars, webinars, survey, participation in a research projects, compilation of information in a database, further development of existing handbook and marketing.
